ARE Oy

ARE Group is Finland’s leading contracting and building services company that also has extensive operations in Sweden. ARE provides its customers with technical building solutions and services throughout the property’s entire life cycle, ranging from building services contracting to care and maintenance, modernisation and renovation construction.

By ensuring that the propertes remain comfortable, energy efficient, safe and environmentally sound. ARE produces sustainable properties designed to enhance productivity and value at every stage of a building’s life cycle. The company offers solutions to offices, other business premises, residental properties, and a wide range of other facilities.

Real Estate Business

Conficap’s real estate business consists of property holdings with central locations in the growth centres of Finland, as well as shares in joint investments. We lease out approximately 100 000 m2 of office and logistics space in the Helsinki Metropolitan area and Turku.

Our leasing business is guided by our focus on the customer, and as a family-owned business, we emphasise developing our services and operations in an active and with long-term perspective.

Investment Business

Conficap’s investment business consists of long-term holdings in listed companies as well as other investments in the stock markets, fixed income and alternative investments.

Conficap is a long-term and active shareholder with the aim of a steady appreciation in value and stable cash returns. Investments are diversified geographically, by business sector, by asset class and on the basis of liquidity and risk level.

With broad diversification that takes into account Conficap’s entire business portfolio, the goal is to achieve strong long-term returns across business cycles.

We constantly look for new investment opportunities. We primarily seek targets with an established market position, i.e., they generate positive cash flow and in which a substantial ownership is attainable.
